In light of the Executive’s announcement that churches are able to re-open their buildings from Monday 29th June, the leadership of Cookstown Baptist Church aim to begin a phased return to our church building. While there’s a heartfelt desire to return to corporate worship in our church building, there is still a nervousness among members about returning to a mass gathering. With this in mind, our aim is to have a cautious and gradual approach.

And so over the summer month, we’ll be returning to our church building for our Tuesday night prayer meetings. In line with government guidelines, there are certain procedures that need to be followed. If you are interested in coming along on a Tuesday night, please get in touch and we can explain these to you. For those who are still shielding and who don’t feel ready to return, we will still be uploading our digital devotions to our Church Facebook and YouTube channels every Tuesday at 8pm.

Our Sunday services will continue online for the summer. Our aim is then to return to the church building for Sunday morning services at the end of the summer (more details to follow nearer the time).
